On the original site of the local blacksmith in Watervale, which burnt down about 100 years ago, we have two suites:

Casablanca

Casablanca is a 2 bedroom suite with space and comfort for 2 couples to enjoy a relaxing stay. Each bedroom has queen size beds. The eat-in kitchen has all you need to prepare a hearty breakfast. The large lounge with slow combustion woodfire is overlooking the outdoor BBQ area and pergola. With the character of exposed stone and the charm of country style furniture, full of character. Home away from home.

(If you want come as a party of six adults and two children, the suites have internal doors that can be opened - so you can be all together, or in two groups, take your pick!)

Chelsea

Chelsea has all the romance of a bygone era. Perfect for 1 couple. Cuddle up in the cosy lounge in front of the wood fire after a romantic dinner in the dining room.

Auburn

In Auburn we have Granmas hideaway:

Granmas Auburn Hideaway

A tranquil hideaway in Auburn. Perfect for a weekend, a week or even a month or 2. Also available as corporate executive short stay. A short walk to cafes, galleries and hotel in the quant township of Auburn. Only 40 minutes north of Gawler and 20 minutes south of Clare. Fully furnished 2 bedroom timber cottage, with a fully equipped quality timber kitchen. Large open plan living area with combustion heating for winter and air conditioning for summer. Bathroom includes deep bath and full laundry facilities. Extensive outdoor decking. Why not enjoy the quiet and relaxing leafy gardens and take in the fresh Clare Valley air. Property is fully self contained with own private accommodation.

Children

Granma's have a cot and high chair that are available on booking.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are welcome with prior arrangement. $200.00 bond is required at time of booking. The property is not fully fenced so supervision is required if dogs are outside. Dogs are not permitted on furniture or beds. Could we suggest that you bring the dogs own bedding and toys to have own smells.
